  The Position

The role of a solution consultant involves delivering technical solutions to both new and existing customers and partners. This presents an exciting opportunity for an accomplished industry expert with strong technical and interpersonal abilities to become part of our dedicated and crucial team within the company.


Your proficiency lies in effectively communicating the company's technological offerings and products, effectively positioning them for both business-minded and technically inclined users. As such, you excel at recognizing the technical and business needs of customers and devising solutions that leverage the capabilities of our products.

Your support will extend to assisting the sales team with proposal activities, making your advanced technical knowledge and creative problem-solving skills highly valuable. Additionally, part of the job involves discovering the possibilities with our product, further enhancing its potential for our customers.

Location:

London - Remote

Experience:  

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years as a Solution consultant experience
  • Strong technical background in SAP and JavaScript, other web development platforms are a plus
  • Project oriented work experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships internally and externally, working closely with our global Solution team and the local sales team, but also with our customers and partners
  • Strong technical background and understanding of software products, solutions, and architectures.
  • Fluent in English. 

Responsibilities

On a daily basis:

  • Perform the technical discovery with prospects and customers
  • Assess the technical fit to initiatives a customer is interested in
  • Judge the right path to perform technical validation event(s) like high-impact demos of the Neptune DX Platform 
  • Co-create and develop compelling business cases for customers that show the ROI and value proposition of Neptune
  • Be the companion of the Account Executives and Channel to maximize the value for our customers, partners, and organization
  • Stay current with Neptune, SAP trends, industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies

On occasion:

  • Evangelize to the developer community and at Marketing events
  • Provide feedback to the product & engineering departments on improvements and participate in testing for new releases 
  • Serve as Neptune DX Platform trainer to customers and partners
