Senior Account Executive for Nordics region


As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining solid relationships with key clients, creating and executing strategic account plans, and driving revenue growth. You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and experienced team and will play a key role in accelerating the company's growth ambitions. Reporting directly to the Chief Sales Officer, you will play a pivotal part in driving the growth of our company.


The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of success in a senior sales role, a deep understanding of the industry(es), and strong communication and negotiation skills. Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective and specific account plans to ensure revenue target delivery and sustainable growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers at potential and existing customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and targets.
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of the market and our products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop relationships with new and existing customers and leverage these to drive sales.
  • Build a foundation on which to harvest future business opportunities.
  • Actively understand each customer's technology footprint, strategic growth plans, technology strategy, and competitive landscape.
  • Play an active role in personally nurturing and developing large/key customers and enabling the business to grow and capture market share.
  • Be a brand champion and educate prospective clients on Neptune’s value proposition.
  • Work with our Marketing, Pre-Sales, and Business Development teams to create an effective lead generation, pipeline development, and revenue generation approach.

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in sales of complex business software/IT solutions.
  • Experience selling complex software solutions to C-level executives.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Preferably knowledge of the SAP eco-system.
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
  • Speak any Nordic language, with excellent proficiency in English.
  • Consistent self-motivation and drive – a self-starter attitude, with a relentless drive to succeed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and collaborative environment where we all work towards a common goal.
